Following the release of ‘Summer Lover’ back in June 2019, Malaysian pop trio MFMF. is back again with their fourth single of the year with ‘Too Much Love’. ‘Too Much Love’ is an uplifting anthem and, as the title suggests, a song about finding love with oneself, and then passing on that love, hope, and enthusiasm to people around them. With its boundless energy and endless hooks, this song is catchy and infectious and upon one listen, and it is clear that the melody will be sticking to you for the rest of your day.
To tie up with the release of ‘Too Much Love’, MFMF. will also be collaborating with several dance studios in Kuala Lumpur, as well as a handful of freelance dancers and choreographers on a music video.
This dance-centric video will be entirely user generated, and will be showcasing the dancers’ various dance moves and reactions to the song. The footages will then be stitched together in the eventual music video; which will be out a week after the release of the song.
To ensure the success of this campaign, MFMF. is collaborating with the Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), in which supporters and listeners will be encouraged to follow a custom curated playlist by MFMF. on Spotify, which they can easily follow and also share around with their friends and families. In doing that, they are providing an effortless, and most importantly, a zero-costway for the transmission of this campaign to the general masses.
MFMF. is pledging to donate 50% of all the proceeds obtained from Spotify for ‘Too Much Love’ to MMHA to show their support for this initiative. On top of that, MFMF. will be working together with Fly Project, a popular Malaysian boutique fitness company that hosts various instructor-guided fitness classes, to organize a one-of-a-kind event as part of the release campaign for ‘Too Much Love’.
Fly Project will be hosting a special week-long Fly Cycle classes in which MFMF. will be doing live DJ sessions during the class, as opposed to curating a regular Spotify playlist. The kick off class, to be held on the 12th of October 2019, will be a special invite-only event which will be attended by the most influential Malaysian KOLs. Fly Project will also be selling seats for their subsequent classes for the week long campaign and has also pledged to donate the proceeds to MMHA.
This exclusive campaign for the release of a single is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia, and we really can’t wait to see what else they have in store for the future.
