The Bee is Back!

Did you miss hanging out at The Bee in Publika? Well you can rejoice now because The Bee, Publika is reopening! The Bee, famous for its live music venues, resident DJ parties, themed gigs and international music showcases will be reopening its doors to the masses soon and you're invited to the opening party this 24th of February!.

Onra, the French hip hop beatmakes will be headlining with a live set followed by a DJ set as part of the Upfront series, a sell-out series byThe Bee. Expect more Upfront events as The Bee intends to bring in more rising international artists in its small and cosy club, allowing for a great musical experience without the huge crowds.


The return of The Bee, Publika is set to be great as it has secured local nu disco and indie rock DJ outfit Indiego & Co. Apart from that, Femme Bam will also be introduced, a live show curated by girls for girls monthly on Thursdays. Sounds like the place to be! Not only that, every last Wednesday of the Month, Raising The Bar wil take place. Raising The Bar will be a hip-hop shindig, great for those of you into the genre. The renovations that have taken place will not only allow the venue to be great for live shows but also for all day dining too.

The night will be opened by DJ collective Public School. The group is made up of avid crate diggers and music enthusiasts Ruud and Renry Hollins. Be sure to be there at The Bee this 24th of February!
