Alex Gaudino is one of the biggest Italian house producers in his home country. His track Little Love, together with Jerma, is still heard across all festivals and is still recognized by everyone loving electronic dance music even though it got released back in 2005. Now, Tiesto's imprint Musical Freedom pays homage to this legend creating a remix made by himself Alex Gaudino and another important Italian name in music production: Hiisak.
There's something fitting about listening to this remix of "Little love" at end of summer. As the opening of a narrative, it tackles the initial imagination and wonder of love. It is, for its ability to evoke so much emotion with a minimalistic approach, the remix is a creative collection of binaries, from moments of calm to explosions of euphoria, flashing back to the past and dreaming about the future. As listeners, it grounds us in the present with reflective subject matters whilst leaving room for our imagination. As artists, the the remix cements Alex Gaudino and Hiisak as masters and electronic dance visionaries. @2020 Simona Nardone Comments are closed.
