Their name is well established, in place since the early 2010s, the Swedish guys, Dada Life and their unique style have not been talked about for a while now. Especially since their album "The Rules of Dada".
But they finally seem determined to return to the front of the scene since they have just announced on their socials a new album for 2018 even with the release of the title "We Want Your Soul" available since December 1.
Anyway we are very happy to see a mythical band come back to the front of the stage, at least we hope for them.

BoTalks made their debut on the new Geffen / Proximity partnership label back in July with “Know U Anymore” featuring Sarah Hyland (read more about it on Billboard Dance) and now the track is back with a new acoustic version.
For the acoustic version, the original sultry, pop dance track has been stripped down; showcasing both BoTalks and Sarah Hyland’s singing talents over a light guitar melody. The track also marks Sarah Hyland’s (star of ABC show Modern Family) crossover into the music world. Sarah and BoTalks recently performed at Los Angeles’ esteemed Peppermint Club (watch here) with more shows to come in the new year.

"Following his smash hit collaboration with Gramatik and Talib Kweli entitled "Aymo", Magid is back to break further ground into the foundation of new-era electronic-acoustic productions."
Balkan Bump is the newly rebranded project from trumpet player/producer Will Magid, based in Oakland, CA. Will is an ethnomusicologist who has been gathering inspiration for his music on all continents, save for Antarctica. A set of his compositions can take you to a Cuban beach, a West African wedding party or a Serbian night club, all within 15 minutes. The musical pieces he is putting out are buoyant jams packed with rich layers of celebratory horns, bouncing percussion, classical strings and even a bit of ambient noise. In the past Will has performed with artists including Pretty Lights, Beats Antique, and Bonobo, but is now focusing on his solo music.
Just recently Will teamed up with Gramatik and Talib Kweli on “Aymo,” one of the tracks from his upcoming EP that evolved into a collaboration, and was recently released on Lowtemp Records. Gramatik’s independent label will also provide a home for Will’s first EP under the Balkan Bump moniker, expected to drop in early 2018. “Irfan” is the first single off of the heavily anticipated release and provides a clear idea of what to expect. As the EP’s title suggests, it is focused on one particular region in Europe - the Balkans - where brass bands reign supreme on the local traditional music scene. “Irfan” is a perfect example of Will’s ability to submerge himself into a different culture and come up with an interesting and fresh take on the old traditions.

Dance music advocate Danny Howard has unveiled his brand new remix of Shadow Child's popular club track 'OOH Tune' on the latter's label, Food Music. The remix has now landed on Beatport as part of the Ooh Tune Remixes EP, having already amassed over 40k streams on Spotify.
Danny's version of the track upgrades the original with a tougher bassline, underpinning the distinctive "Ooh" vocal and uplifting piano chords that make the track such a hit. This extended version also includes a climactic breakdown with accelerating drums, making this a perfect weapon for Danny's peak time sets at the likes of Amnesia and Hi Ibiza. The remix cements Danny's status as a Food Music staple; he's released two EPs on the label throughout 2017, June's 'Work That / Holla' and the more recent 'Feel Real / Kid', released early December.
With the original version of 'OOH Tune' receiving a wealth of support from the biggest names in the industry, including Annie Mac, and Eats Everything, who has been frequently spinning the track in his live sets, Shadow Child has carved a reputation as one of the most influential artists on the scene. His hugely popular weekly slot on Rinse FM, plays the best in house and techno every Wednesday from 9pm to 11pm, featuring tracks from the likes of Dusky, Andrea Oliva and Jamie Jones.
The remix marks an exciting new chapter in the career of Danny Howard with the Blackpool-born producer recently making his Friday night debut on BBC Radio 1 alongside Annie Mac and Pete Tong.."At the beginning of the year, I would say more people knew me for DJ'ing," says Danny. "But I want to change that and step up my production game. I want to represent the dance music world 360 degrees in terms of my radio shows, events and my own music."
Having enjoyed a hectic 2017 touring schedule, Danny has played shows at Creamfields, Privilege Ibiza, Cafe Mambo, and Sziget Festival premiering many of the track selections from his label, Nothing Else Matters. He also debuted his 'The Following meets Nothing Else Matters' stage at SW4 this summer, where Danny teamed up with UK trio Disciples to crossover their brands and curate a festival line-up including Erick Morillo, Icarus, Riton, and Sam Divine, at the Clapham event.

In the dance music world, time seems to go by faster than any other place on earth. What may be a hot trend today can shift direction in an instant. However, true talent always prevails and that bond between an artist and their fans is unbreakable...it stands the test of time. Gabriel & Dresden is one such team that has helped define the global dance music scene for nearly 20 years. Whether it be originals including the international pop-hit “As The Rush Comes” (as Motorcycle w/ Jes Brieden), “Arcadia,” “Tracking Treasure Down,” “Dangerous Power,” “Without You Near” (w/ Markus Schulz) and “Zocalo” (w/ Armin van Buuren) or their legendary remixes for Andain, Above & Beyond and Sarah McLachlan, Gabriel & Dresden’s music has always sat in a place that crushes the dance floor but also tugs at the soul.
11 years after the release of the eponymous debut album Gabriel & Dresden, Josh & Dave have returned with their much anticipated follow up full length record, The Only Road. “Much anticipated” is a phrase that’s thrown around quite a lot in the music industry, but in the case of The Only Road we happen to know this as fact...it truly is a record the fans have been clamoring for. How do we know? At a crossroads in their career, in November 2016, Gabriel & Dresden decided to set up a Kickstarter Campaign for their fans to help them greenlight a new album. Originally asking for $30,000 dollars to meet their goal, Gabriel & Dresden ended up with nearly three times the pledge amount (over $73,000 dollars) from 700 backers. Pledge rewards were also unique in nature, ranging from backers producing an album track with Gabriel & Dresden, one supporter gaining ownership of Dave Dresden’s personal CD collection spanning the 1980’s - 2005 (4,000 pieces in total) and a four-hour house party at the location of the backers’ choice. A much anticipated album indeed
“What makes The Only Road special is that it was fan-supported and fan-inspired. We didn’t just make this record for us, we made it for all of the people that had faith in our music. For us, it isn’t just an album -- it’s our soundtrack of the past 11 years -- the beautiful, the ugly, the melancholy and the hopeful. It’s something we’re proud to share because it represents who we are and the long road we traveled to get here, or should we say...the only road.”
Adding to the excitement that a new Gabriel & Dresden album is on the horizon is the news that
The Only Road will be released on Above & Beyond’s own Anjunabeats imprint. Having been inspired by Gabriel & Dresden’s work throughout their career, Above & Beyond added their own twist to the first single from the album “This Love Kills Me” feat. Sub Teal,” shooting right to the top of the Beatport Trance Chart in October. Elsewhere, Gabriel & Dresden have not missed a beat, delivering on their classic recipe of emotive dance music through an 12-track journey.
“Melody and emotion are making a comeback, this re-awakening inspired us after 11 years to make a new album. We wanted to get back to our roots and make something that celebrated our past while at the same time, giving us a chance to look to the future.”
The Only Road is released for the fans in December 15, 2017

Armin van Buuren is the first DJ ever to release a Christmas Song. Celebrating the most wonderful holiday with your loved ones should be done the right way. With your own soundtrack playing on repeat. Armin and Josh wanted to give you that perfect Christmas present after having an magical summer with "Sunny Days". They broke down the summer hit into a more gentle calm version and added some lovely jingle bells. The track was made within 24 hours and aired the same day on Dutch radio.
Armin van Buuren: "A few weeks ago, someone from the office asked me if I had ever toyed with the idea of turning 'Sunny Days' into a Christmas song. A DJ releasing a Christmas carol is not something that easily comes to mind, but when I listened to 'Sunny Days' afterwards, I discovered that the lyrics do have some of that Christmas magic going for them."
"Past Tuesday night, I spoke with the vocalist of 'Sunny Days', Josh Cumbee, who has become a good friend of mine. I shared the idea with him and when I woke up the next morning at 6 a.m., he had already sent me a first draft, based on an unreleased downtempo version of 'Sunny Days'. I loved it so much that I immediately sent it over to my record label (Armada Music) and less than 24 hours later, 'Christmas Days' was born."
So please kick back and relax with "Christmas Days" on repeat, you deserve it !
