Following the world exclusive first play from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6Music last week, Tricky releases his new single 'Running Wild' featuring vocals from Mina Rose.
A song about the confusing uncertainty of youth, 'Running Wild' features South London-based newcomer Mina Rosa who writes that the lyrics "came from the lost child within me."
Rose will be a touring member of Tricky's band as the live female vocalist on the soon-to-be-announced European shows this autumn, in support of ununiform.
'Running Wild' is out NOW (28th Aug) on all digital services here: https://K7.lnk.to/RunningWild
Ununiform, Tricky's 13th album, is out 22nd September on False Idols / !K7. A delicate, storming, intricate album, it sees Tricky take perhaps his most radical step yet - a journey into happiness and contentment. It's a record that shows the legendary British producer confront his legacy, history, family - even death itself. The first album that Tricky has compiled as a truly independent artist free from the pressure of debt and destruction, ununiform is a glorious, beautiful and intensely personal attempt to answer the simple question "What does Tricky sound like?"

More About Against The Current
The American pop rock band was formed in the early 2011 by Dan Gow, Will Ferri, Joe Simmons and Jeremy Rompala. In the summer of 2011, Chrissy Costanza, current lead singer, then joined the band after being introduced through a mutual friend. Beginning their music venture with a serious of YouTube covers of various hit songs, the band quickly built up an impressive following base. Their second EP, Gravity, was then released on February 17, 2015. Gravity was charted in four Billboard magazine charts and peaked on several album charts. Shortly afterwards, the band proudly announced their signing with Fueled By Ramen under Atlantic Records. The band later released their very first studio album, “In Our Bones” in May 2016 and kick started their world tour in Korea, continuing to a number of countries in Europe, North America and Asia. With a catchiness attributed to their upbeat rhythms and Costanza’s powerful vocal presence, the band’s music truly embraces the definition of pop-rock, playing around with levels of pop-ness and rock-ness across each of their tracks.
Widely considered to be among the most forward-thinking electronic acts on the planet, GoldFish have spruced up the scene with another spark of brilliance. Today, the South African duo has given rise to 'If I Could Find', an amaranthine offering that follows on their previous release, 'Deep Of The Night', and marks the second single of their forthcoming album: 'Late Night People'.
Listen to GoldFish – If I Could Find
Laced with sexy jazz chords both summery and upbeat, 'If I Could Find' has all the hallmarks of a timeless radio hit. Its saxophone melodies swirl around the well-crafted beats like the world's best dancers in a three-way tango and the rising vocals add extra flavor to the already savory arrangement, making sure the record is as catchy as it is versatile.
GoldFish: "This song was born on the road, while driving up the winding mountain passes in Colorado for a show at the legendary Belly Up in Aspen. We had the track session plugged into the aux input of our car and we were working on it while our tour manager drove. It was such inspiring scenery going by as Dave came up with the opening line 'If I could find a new state of mind...' and from there, we pretty much had most of the song done by the time we arrived in Aspen. The lyrics allude to a place that we are always chasing - escaping the myriad distractions of this world that are constantly pulling us away from living our best selves."
Since locking themselves in their bedroom studio and emerging with debut album 'Caught In The Loop' in 2006, GoldFish have gone from one of dance music's best-kept secrets to luminaries both as producers and on the live front. Their can-do attitude and unique musical vision led them to countless sold-out performances and festival appearances, a top 10 in the iTunes Dance chart in the US, an MTV Africa award, a four-year residency at Pacha Ibiza and a list of support that runs from Robin Schulz and Klingande to Thomas Jack and Sam Feldt. They're ever eager to innovate and 'If I Could Find' shows how well that has turned out.
Deadmau5 was sporting a massive grin in a recent Instagram post. The common reaction when standing next to your new $288,000 McLaren 720S sports car.
As reported back in March, Deadmau5 sold his beloved McLaren P1 to finance Cube 2.1. Following a global tour schedule dubbed ‘Lots of Shows In A Row’, the notorious sports car and coffee aficionado is bringing a new model back into his fleet.
No confirmation on if the new ride will receive the Nyan Cat paint job.

When you've been around the House block as much as Junior Sanchez has, you've witnessed everything from the baby steps of the scene to its years of prosper and world-changing effect on electronic music as a whole. Combining all of that with the defining influence of the likes of Masters At Work, Mood 2 Swing, Armand van Helden, Todd Terry, Daft Punk, Kerri Chandler and MK, Junior Sanchez has come up with an eleven-piece album that can only be regarded as a wonderful tribute: 'Under The Influence'.
Listen to: Junior Sanchez – Under The Influence
"'Under The Influence' is a very personal album as it pays homage to my friends and peers", Junior Sanchez explains. "As we hang out with our influencers, we get jaded sometimes. They become our friends and then we tend to forget how much we loved their work and art. I realized that I'm still their fan and hugely influenced by them, and that's what made me want to honor them and their work by way of the album."
With each track of the album, Junior Sanchez shows how far-reaching the influence of the House pioneers has been. From 'Back To House' (feat. SoShy) as an interpretation of Daft Punk's 'Teachers' and an extensive list of House icons in 'You & I & The Music' to the sound in 'Think About It' that makes one reminisce about "Little Louie" Vega's Wednesday night sets at New York City's The Sound Factory Bar, the album serves as a narrative of House music history and acknowledges the role of House's finest in the evolution of dance music.
Having been one of the scene's front-runners for more than twenty years, Junior Sanchez has produced and remixed tracks for a smorgasbord of top-tier artists, ranging from Madonna to Daft Punk. He has performed all over the globe at clubs and festivals across the United States, Asia, Australia and Europe and is the head honcho of his Brobot Records imprint, operating under the wing of Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music.

Listen to Firebeatz feat. Vertel – Till The Sun Comes Up

Shining bright with its addictive chord progressions and the sparkling vocals of American singer-songwriter Vertel, this masterpiece will keep fans going until the break of dawn.
Firebeatz: "We've always wanted to head up our own label and to do so now in collaboration with Armada Music feels like the right next step to take. As of today, we get to release whatever we want and can contribute to the dance music scene in our own way, with a sound that we think rocks and love to play live. We're super excited to share our new music with the world on Ignite Recordings, but also thrilled to have it become a platform to introduce new talents to our fans with."
Maykel Piron, CEO Armada Music: "We've been fans of Firebeatz for as long as we can remember. Since they started out, they've always had something special going, both in their productions and in their live shows. We can safely say that their new label, Ignite Recordings, will be equally smashing and we can't wait to work with them to turn this label into a great success."
Consisting of Tim Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaar, Firebeatz are among the most prolific DJ/producers of this decade. Their track record includes countless mainstage anthems, collaborations with dance music luminaries such as Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Martin Garrix, and a seemingly never-ending list of remix work for the likes of Rihanna, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Snoop Dogg, James Blunt and Sean Paul. With pummeling live shows from Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas to ADE Festival in Amsterdam and tracks such as 'Dear New York', 'Guitar Track' (with Sander van Doorn), 'Helicopter' (with Martin Garrix) and 'I Can't Understand' (with Chocolate Puma) as clear-cut fan favorites, their rise to stardom has been so fierce and swift it's no wonder many claim it to be a firestorm. And that intensity is what Firebeatz will carry over into their new label.

Ksuke – Bio
A first for a Japanese DJ, he has been plastered over the news continuously and getting the attention of the fans. This, is the borderless Japanese DJ - KSUKE. The news of the record breaking DJ has spread overseas, and his popularity has exploded especially in the Asian territories.
2016 - DJMAG JAPAN in their first ever DJ ranking placed KSUKE at #1. This was the result of different aspects such as votes from the Japanese public, international activities, and product releases. It portrayed the result of his past few years of DJing internationally, and building his career.
KSUKE, with his charisma, is also collecting attention as a fashionista. At “VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHT OUT 2016” he was the only male icon to be recognized, and caught the attention of media.
Of course, his career as a music producer is being built continuously as well. He signed to the international label at Warner Music Japan in March 2015 and has released his first original album worldwide. He worked on the remix for Major Lazer’s international hit song “Lean On.” Domestically, he has worked with a wide range of artists from bands to idols such as MAN WITH A MISSION, Ken Hirai, CROSS FAITH, Shota Shimizu and Team Syachihoko. Each track has received raving reviews. Recently, his original track “BREATHE AGAIN” welcomed Korea’s popular group f(x)’s Amber as a guest vocal and recorded a million views on YouTube in one month and lit his popularity in the Asian countries.
As a Japanese DJ, and as an Asian DJ - you cannot take your eyes off KSUKE who makes our hearts beat faster with his music.

Finland’s Roisto returns to Axtone’s It’s Great! imprint with something special, once again channeling French touch of yesteryear whilst keeping things contemporary.
No regrets is a chilled-out track that encompasses the electronic signature sound offered by Roisto. The track itself encompasses simplicity, with a hit of a chorus that gives off a groovy vibe. The music clearly emphasises the heavy use of the synthpop and disco genres, with complements to the keyboards and synthesisers used in this track.
The video for ‘No Regrets’ follows on from the previous clip with the protagonist embarking on a live show performance mirroring that of Roisto’s, albeit fashioned out of one the most analogue materials of them all: cardboard.
Roisto have created something as emotionally honest and a lot more fun to dance to. Go out and rejoice: there’s something new under the sun.

Dutch multi-talented dj and producer Eelke Kleijn can be counted on to turn out a superb rework, with dozens of outstanding remixes to his name for artists as diverse as John Legend and Henry Saiz. For his new single Shed My Skin he seeks inspiration from the past, reinterpreting the gorgeous vocal from the 2001 release of the same name.
Listen to Eelke Kleijn feat. Therese – Shed My Skin
“I have been a huge fan of Shed My Skin since I heard it first in 2001” says Eelke, “but I've always thought I could bring something new to the table given the chance to work on it.” He takes the dreamy feel of the original and adds more energy and atmospheric layers to it to bring it right up-to-date.
The silky vocal glides over bubbling analog bass tones, soaring string sections and gently driving percussion which all combine to create a backbone that never threatens to detract from the beauty of the song itself. With both radio and big room appeal (the extended version is a sprawling, slow-burning epic) it’s set to be a big hit for the Rotterdam producer.
ABOUT EELKE KLEIJN
Eelke Kleijn is a rare talent. With work stretching across film scores, deep live shows and incredibly well formed production, he crosses a boundary from electronic producer and into a true modern day composer. With peers and tastemakers standing up for this unmistakable imagination, the Rotterdam based music maker’s potential has no bounds. Defying limitations as an electronic artist, his work as a Hollywood ‘soundtracker’ has been seen in Parker, The Crossing, Wrath of the Titans, This Means War and Ron Howard’s Rush trailer. Furthering his cinematic endeavors, Eelke Kleijn released his bootleg for The Hunger Games song “The Hanging Tree” by James Newton Howard featuring leading lady Jennifer Lawrence. Having also built a new studio last year, Eelke spent much of his time creating new music and spending time on his new imprint DAYS like NIGHTS
