The finest purveyor of Future Jack, D.O.D returns to his now fixed home of Axtone records, bringing with him a fully road-tested banger that represents a shift in his sound. Future Jack 1.5 and 2.0 ,which sets the tone for 2019.
"According to me" is absolutely groovy and the melody gets easily in, but very hard out of your head, and this pretty much describes why this song is so good. Once again Axtone cements his place as a go-to source of high-quality "festival ready" house music, with his infectious rhythms and tribal beats bringing a carnival atmosphere to proceedings. Expertly programmed vocal stabs compliment the melody top-line in the main breakdown: a tremendous mix of latin sounds and house beats. Fantastic percussion, uplifting vocal samples and contagious melodies are making sure you will dance all day to the "According to me". @Simona Nardone, DJ Mag Malaysia 2019 Just months after commemorating their 150th episode celebration live, followed by hosting their inaugural Electronic Music Conference with Asia’s largest, Wired Music Week, the duo’s strive to go all out to revolutionize the electronic music scene in Brunei with the release of their debut compilation album, ‘Sounds of the Brotherhood’.

The duo team and solo artist recently formed a collaborative called MFMF. And here is what you would want to know more about them... MFMF. - A collective of SPUDS & KUIZZ - How did it all started? MFMF. is started because both of us - Spuds and Kuizz, wanted an outlet where we could showcase and experiment with music which is different from the usual stuff our individual brands are known for. We first got together when we worked on ‘Okay’ last year, which is a single featuring Spuds and Kuizz. From there, we realized that we had good chemistry and jived together really well; hence the decision to form MFMF. together as a trio. What makes MFMF. unique from other producers? We are not afraid to try out and experiment in other genres! As mentioned, both of us came from vastly different musical backgrounds, and when we got together, we took the best of both worlds from our experiences and applied them to MFMF. and I guess that’s what makes us unique. Flashes - The latest track from your collective production, what is the inspiration of it & how does this derive from your other songs?
Flashes is a song about falling in love and meeting your childhood sweetheart again and recalling those moments in flashes. We are really excited to release this song as it is definitely something new for us and it is vastly different from the songs which we have done in the past - Spuds being a dance-focused duo, and Kuizz being a Pop / R&B act. When we first started out on this project we weren’t sure about how it would turn out but somehow everything worked in our favor and this song is the end product that came out of the session. What made you choose Bil Musa as the vocalist for Flashes? Also, any other plans to collaborate with other artists soon? When we finished the beat, we were looking for an artist who would suit the cheerful, uplifting vibe of this song would. Kuizz suggested that Bil Musa was the perfect candidate - but we weren’t sure that she would do it as she comes from an indie background. When finally showed the song to Bil Musa, she LOVED it. She then wrote the top-line and the rest is history. As for future plans, we are gonna have a diverse cast of upcoming and talented artists from Malaysia and all around the world lined up such as Daiyan Trisha, Aina Abdul, and Haneri from Singapore. And that's not even the final list yet. Exciting times ahead, so stay tuned folks! Tell us your plans in the near future! Release more songs on a consistent basis, and to try out more things which are out of our comfort zone. And also, to work with more artists coming from different genres and countries. We feel that this is the best way to improve and grow ourselves going forward - both individually, and also as a team. YOU CAN CHECK OUT FLASHES IN THE LINK HERE: www.fanlink.to/flashes VISIT MFMF. Flaremode has been on fire this year, releasing an electrifying house single on Mixmash Records with Danny Ores, titled, “Nutty” just a few weeks ago and continue to DJ on their esteemed Billboard Radio residency. Jean Marie has had quite a year already as well, releasing a huge single last month titled “Gaia” with Vini Vici and Blastoyz that has already earned over two million streams. Matt Joe has enjoyed a lot of success with his own music, earning 10 million streams across various platforms and also received two golden records in Italy. A stunning production, both a dancefloor hit and a radio anthem, written in partnership with New York singer-songwriter duo Loote; features cute melancholy vocals which unfold over shimmering, chorused guitars as the track kicks off, before it explodes into the joyous chorus with a driving beat underpinning it. Next comes the spine-tingling lead riff that bursts into play out of nowhere, building towards the full drop where it dances and prances over chunky beats and phat electro bass. More sorrowful guitars greet us in the next breakdown, setting the stage for the beautiful vocals once again.
