City branding and marketing run through our veins. Ask people all over the world to describe Amsterdam in a few words and you'll only hear positive things. Amsterdam, one of the world's most open-minded cities; the dance capital of the world. With Amsterdam being such a strong brand by itself, we decided with our team to make a club touring event of all the positive things our home has: One Night in Amsterdam.
HOW DID IT START?
One Night in Amsterdam (ONIA) was founded by two Dutch youngsters Jordi Hartgers and Roshan Binda in 2010, with one of the very first shows being at the world-famous Pacha. Within a few years the event has toured literally the globe: over 20 countries and 30 cities have experience the One Night in Amsterdam show. With our infamous Dutch DJs we're taking the scene by storm. From our very own official DJ, to artists like Chuckie, Blasterjaxx or Sick Individuals; all have toured with us. Imagine a great visual show, free give-away merchandising, ONIA flags and more on top and you'll get a glimp of our show.
WHERE DID WE HOST THE EVENT SO FAR?
As mentioned we've toured the concept to 20+ countries and 30+ cities world wide. One Night in Amsterdam is currently active in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. A few of the highlights (flagship events) are definitely Pacha, Nasimi Beach (Atlantis the Palm), Fusion Shanghai, Zentral Hong Kong, Rendezvous India and Chaos Manila. Let's not forget our yearly Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) showcase. For ADE 2017 we're definitely taking it to the next level with not just one, but two showcases at the world's largest dance music conference/event. This year's headliners are Daddy's Groove, Thomas Newson, Tom Soon, Justin Mylo and Tomorrowland's very own Sem Thomasson. At all of our shows we also have one of the event's founders, ROSH, playing as he guards the quality of the music at our world wide shows.
Soon we'll start focusing on 2018, as our 2017 agenda is almost completely full. Shows coming up in Asia, Middle East and Europe in the coming months. On top of this we'll start our very own label in 2018: ONIA Records. Keep an eye for the stuff that's coming as this is just the beginning.
